Transportation Application and Payment Instructions

Eligibility

  • Black Gold provides transportation only for rural STAR Catholic students who live within the rural Leduc attendance boundary.
  • Grades 7–8: Father Leduc Catholic School
  • Grades K–6: École Notre Dame School
  • ❌ Transportation is not available for Grades K–6 at Father Leduc Catholic School.
  • If you require busing from within the City of Leduc, or from within The City of Beaumont, contact the STAR Catholic Transportation Department at 780-986-2500. Or, register online at https://www.starcatholic.ab.ca/busing.

Registration

  • Students must register directly with both Black Gold Transportation and STAR Catholic Transportation.
  • Registration is required each school year.
  • Use the link below to register for transportation.
All applications are subject to approval by the Transportation Department.
Important: You will not receive a notification when your application is received. We will email you when your bus pass(es) are ready for pick-up.

Fees & Bus Pass Pick-up

  • Fees are based on eligibility and attendance boundaries. Most STAR Catholic students are considered School of Choice students for transportation purposes.

  • Payment and bus pass pick-up must be completed in person before your child can ride the bus.

Bus Stop Information

  1. Log in to your Bus Planner Parent Portal and add your child using their student ID. (Email transportation@blackgold.ca if you don’t have your child's student ID number.)
  2. Transportation information for the upcoming school year will begin appearing in August as registrations are processed and routes are finalized. Please check your Bus Planner parent portal regularly.
  3. Download the Bus Status 4 app. Star your child’s bus and turn on notifications for real-time updates.
  4. Reminder: It is the parents' responsibility to check Bus Planner for transportation details.
